Summer 2004 workshop

BACK TO CARCASSONNE

We are pleased to announce the return of Wolfe Lowenthal to Carcassonne for an international workshop in the South of France.
This very special event will occur from Monday July 5 to Sunday July 11 2004. This workshop will include students only from the Cheng Man-Ching "family". Carcassonne is located between Toulouse and Montpellier on the way to Spain and near the Mediterranean sea; it holds two UNESCO world treasures: the tree-lined "Canal du Midi" and the turreted Twelfth Century walled city.
Schedule: Six days of teaching from Monday to Sunday ( Thursday free) -9 to 11:30am: Push Hands and Da-Lu (starting with a first form) -Afternoon break: lunch, rest. -4 to 5:30pm: form instruction -5:30 to 6:30pm: general "supervised" practice /sword instruction. Saturday night dinner together, Wolfe's lecture on Friday evening. Tuition of 300 euros or 300 dollars will be charged for the workshop.

Wolfe Lowenthal is widely acknowledged as one of the preeminent teachers of Tai Chi Chuan in the U.S.A student since 1967 and assistant to the legendary Cheng Man Ching, he is the author of two classic works on Tai Chi practice and philosophy "There Are No Secrets" and "Gateway to the Miraculous" from North Atlantic Books.
